Your eating disorder wants you to be hungry, obedient, and small. You want more.

UnashamED
Recovery Coaching

I help people struggling with eating disorders who want to stop being compliant with the diet culture status quo. UnashamED Recovery coaching is personalized, oriented toward agency, and fueled by feminist, social justice principlesAfter feeling separated from my values and limited by treatment options during my own recovery, I now work in collaboration with other providers to give clients the daily coaching and support they need to advance toward treatment goals while recovering at home.

Cassie provides resources, science, and knowledge beyond her extreme care and support around EDs. She makes the experience personal to every individual and their needs. She’s the best listener, encourager, and provides strategy and clear pathways for reaching one’s goal. Cassie is great if you need action and change.

You deserve autonomy in recovery.

About Me

I'm Cassie Cloutier and I strive to view recovery through a social justice lens by centering each person's identity, priorities and lived experience in supporting them. I received my certification as a recovery coach through OED Academy, and my other training includes the Eating Disorder Informed Professional (EDIP) designation through ERC Pathlight as well as the Peer Mentor and Peer Support Group facilitator trainings through ANAD. I'm always continuing my education on the Health at Every Size, weight-inclusive, anti-oppressive frameworks that are central to my coaching.

Outside of coaching, my life in NYC includes lots of reading, writing, crafting, and seeing theatre with friends.

Eating Disorder Recovery Coaching is different from counseling services and is not to be considered a substitute for clinical treatment or therapy. Eating Disorder Recovery coaching can be a great stepping stone to forming a treatment team, an addition to therapy or a next step in your healing journey.
