CASSANDRA CLOUTIER
Curiosity, Consciousness, Collaboration
Welcome! My name is Cassandra Cloutier and I’m an NYC-based actor with a passion for work that challenges audiences to reconsider the world around them. I’m originally from Massachusetts and I have a BFA in acting from Marymount Manhattan College.
I grew up in the ballet studio, writing for my local paper, and around perseverant, hardworking parents. When I decided to pursue an acting career, I was armed with artistic discipline, a strong work ethic, and a deep love for telling stories that have each defined me as an actor. Before coming to New York, my earliest training was in community theater where I learned to love not only the craft but the atmosphere of collaboration. The ability of live theatre to bring together so many unique personalities and perspectives is something I continue to admire.
In addition to my acting training, I’ve gained experience in dramaturgy, intimacy direction, theatre administration, and performance research which have each affected me deeply. In these roles, I developed a feeling of responsibility to make work that is conscious of its context and participants, and curiosity which fuels me every day!
I’m a lover of libraries, my wildly inspiring gang of family and friends, and breakfast food at all times of day.
